Back Chopping Silage

I took my camera to the pond last night. The guys have some new posts put into the ground at the Lot. Everything is so brown this time of year. The water line at Richard's was finished. Bob found someone to help him.
On the way home as I turned the corner by the bridge I saw that Mitch was bringing another load of silage to the trench. I'm delivering lunch to Steve today, so he can save on time and keep working in the field.
I seen some interesting birds. There was a mostly white with black neck and back colored diving duck. It spent more time under water than on the surface. A huge (sand hill?) crane which flew away while I was watching these ducks stick their butts in the air.
When I got back home in the yard there was a wood pecker and this American Kestrel which is like a small hawk, it was sitting on our old TV antenna.
