I was chatting with Talena and this little bird kept landing on the rosebushes outside my window. It was smaller than a sparrow with a little Mohawk hairdo. The big pups kept trying to catch it! Weird dogs.

Steve told me about a few hundred ducks that have been staying on the outlet over West. So I went over one morning but they must of been feeding somewhere else. They have managed to keep the water open with so many of them swimming on it. I will have to be real sneaky and quiet to get a picture of them which is hard to do when everything is frozen and crunchy when you walk. :) I'll try again to get a photo of them on the outlet.

The big pond is frozen. I kept hearing sounds and finally realized it was the ice cracking. It was kinda cool to hear.

A few of the ducks flew up from the west end of the pond.

Steve said some of the cracking ice sounds like rifle shots.

Here is apart of the cows by the dam.

This was a new baby fresh out of the weeds.

Pretty cold for babies. I am ready for spring.
